Count down...

The moving day is getting closer! We close this Thurdsay (Lord willing!) and then Dad will start painting on Friday. James and I have been trying to figure out what colors we want in the house. We planned on going to a paint store last Saturday but I started not feeling well after having an italian beef for lunch so we went back home. We were able to look on the Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams websites and they have all of their colors online and programs where you can "paint" rooms to see if you like the color. So that was cool. We are still debating colors. Maybe green for living/dining area. Not sure about kitchen. If you have any ideas then feel free to let me know! It will be so nice to have our own living space again and to have our private lives back. :)

Hmmm, well, colors depend on how you want to decorate. I think whenever we paint our living room, we'll go with something more neutral, like a taupe or brownish shade. It seems to be a popular color choice and any decor can go with that. So if you ever get different sofas, etc, it will still go well with the color. That's my opinion. Then bedrooms can be more fun and colorful. Our room is a green shade (Raymond calls it pea soup color, haha) the bathroom is a bluish-green almost aqua color, and the boys' room is blue.
